Today’s Corporate Venture Capitalists (CVCs) are playing an increasingly influential and high-value role in the global investment ecosystem, participating in more than 25% of Venture Capital (VC) deals. It is, however, a challenging job. Corporate Venturing programs operate professionally in a complex set of interdependent ecosystems involving both internal and external stakeholders, with unique financial and strategic mandates. Integrating an understanding of the Venture Capital ‘rules of the game’ with an appreciation for the nuances and requirements of strategic investing is fundamental to CV program professionalism and impact.

What is CVC Investment Programs?

CVC Investment Programs is a cohort-based masterclass which explores key elements for designing, building, and optimising CVC programs. The course is a fast-paced combination of self-paced materials, video case studies, models and market resources enriched by facilitated live discussions.

「CVC投資プログラム」は、CVC組織の設計・構築・最適化の重要な要素を探求するコホート・ベース（共同学習型）のマスタークラス（専門家による授業）です。本コースは、皆様ご自身のペースで進められる教材や動画形式のケーススタディ、最新の業界トレンドや知見を有する専門家・ロールモデル等によるライブ討議を組み合わせた集中講座です。

• Provides both new and established units the chance to dip into a range of CVC charters, operating models and team structures informed by industry trends and insights

• Illustrates key VC and CVC industry concepts through best practice program case studies and expert panels across CV program types and maturity phases

• Explores nuances for strategic investors participating in the VC investment process (CVC deal management, term sheets, cap tables, due diligence, board/observer roles)

• Broadens perspectives on key success factors for meeting the new high bar for CVC professionalism

• Promotes engagement with startup, CVC and legal role models, and networking with peers from other corporations to share experiences, challenges and best practices

Normally, the fees are $3,500 per person for in-person course delivery.
