Why Tokyo, now
Japan is a mature corporate venturing market. The trading houses and corporate funds here have been investing strategically for decades, so the questions being asked are about scaling and returns rather than getting started. The Congress puts you in front of that thinking directly, alongside the Japanese CVCs, international investors and startup teams building in this market.

What is costs?
Congress registration is US$950/JP¥ 130,000. The International Delegation is US$1,500.
If you are travelling in, a realistic total including flights, hotel and meals is around US$2,500 to $3,200 for the Congress, or US$3,300 to $4,200 for the Delegation and Congress, coming from Europe or the US. From elsewhere in Asia it is closer to US$1,800 to $2,300 and US$2,600 to $3,300.
Two things bring that down. November is one of the cheapest months of the year to fly into Tokyo. And the programme covers most meals across the three days, including both networking lunches and the Tuesday evening dinner.

The Delegation is the part I want to flag.
